Sorry, I haven't been posting. Recently, I've been an interesting mix of lazy and boring! I've got a few drafts awaiting final say, so something soonish. Also, I think there will be a trip to Monkey Island next weekend, EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Today, I was beckoned to crouch behind a counter in the banquet hot kitchen where I shared a plastic basket full of crabs, clams, jumbo shrimp, and the biggest mollusks I've ever eaten. Just....so...yum. I don't know what kind, big spiral snail shell with a little shell door on the foot, tug on it and the whole animal came out. Maybe one of the biologists knows what I'm describing? They also fed me green (read: unripe) mango dipped in a paste of fish sauce, sugar, and chilies. Nobody understood me when I said, "Weeiirrrdddd."
